Sequoia

Sequoia timbers are cut from the heartwood of the log. This part of the log is naturally decay resistant and should provide a service life of around 20+ years with minimal or no maintenance if installed correctly. The natural colour ranges from a light pink to a deep reddish brown. Sequoia is a lightweight timber when dry and relatively soft, it is strong with a good strength to weight ratio. A very stable timber with little seasonal movement. Easy to work with both hand and machine tools.
